She recorded herself berating them and striking the victim across the face and body.<\/p>\n<p>The Point Pleasant Beach Police Department described the altercation in a press release on July 13.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The female suspect began yelling at the female juvenile over patriotic colored sweatpants with political wording. The female suspect was then seen on video striking the juvenile female, once to the body and once to the face, with an open hand. The female suspect then left the scene without being identified.<br\/>\nAfter an investigation done by PPBPD Detective Bureau, this agency was able to identify Kaitlyn Tracey of Allenhurst, NJ as the suspect for this incident, on 7\/6\/26. At that time Ms. Tracey was charged with Simple Assault (2C:12-1A(1)), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2C:24-4A(2)), Harassment (2C:33-4A) and Obstruction (2C:29-1A) by Detective Korey McCormack of the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Commenters on the since-removed video reportedly said the teen was wearing Trump-branded pants.<\/p>\n<p>Surveillance footage and social media posts helped police identify Tracey, who entered the U.S. in 2024 and was living in Asbury Park with her husband, Matthew Geroni.<\/p>\n<p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1021\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/475cf744525c415d133a54b74f84e445.jpg\" width=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/475cf744525c415d133a54b74f84e445.jpg 450w, https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/475cf744525c415d133a54b74f84e445-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>She is currently detained at the Delaney Hall immigration facility in Newark and is scheduled to appear in court on August 4, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Geroni posted on TikTok a video of himself despairing over her arrest and saying through tears: \u201cI need help\u2026 my wife is being detained by ICE.\u201d He begged for money, saying he\u00a0 needed to hire an immigration attorney, blubbering \u201cI don\u2019t have any money, I am so f-cking broke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The husband said he initially launched a GoFundMe to help get his wife out of ICE detention, but the fundraiser was pulled down after it was reported.<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/?p=1016\">Public Confidence in Higher Education Declining According to Latest Gallup Poll<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The couple appear to be prolific posters of anti-Trump, anti-Republican content on TikTok.<\/p>\n<p>Geroni previously posted a video on TikTok \u201cwishing cancer on every member of President Trump\u2019s family, including his youngest grandchildren, while dancing to George Michael\u2019s Faith.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1022\" height=\"631\" src=\"https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/108571c8e6f2de9f2d0881a3537dd31a.jpg\" width=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/108571c8e6f2de9f2d0881a3537dd31a.jpg 450w, https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/108571c8e6f2de9f2d0881a3537dd31a-214x300.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<noscript>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1022\" height=\"631\" src=\"https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/108571c8e6f2de9f2d0881a3537dd31a.jpg\" width=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/108571c8e6f2de9f2d0881a3537dd31a.jpg 450w, https:\/\/urbaneconomynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/108571c8e6f2de9f2d0881a3537dd31a-214x300.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/noscript><\/p>\n<p>He also previously posted an anti-ICE video slamming the Delaney Hall immigration Center, the very same facility where his wife is now being held.<\/p>\n<p>Geroni also made multiple videos gleefully celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
