The 400 noncitizens who voted illegally in New Jersey are now facing prosecution, denaturalization and deportation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are subject to prosecution and removal from the United States,\u201d Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson, Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Dhillon pointed out that not all of these voters are illegal aliens\u2014some are Green Card holders\u2014but all are ineligible to vote.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople need to see the consequences of voting when you\u2019re not allowed to,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill (D.) announced Tuesday that a \u201csoftware error\u201d in the state\u2019s Motor Vehicle Commission system had registered 6,600 non-citizens to vote between June 2023 and June 2024 even though they had indicated they were not U.S. citizens on driver\u2019s license and ID applications.<\/p>\n

Sherrill emphasized that the error happened \u201cunder the previous administration\u201d and alleged that a preliminary analysis showed that fewer than 400 of these individuals actually cast ballots in elections.<\/p>\n

Sherill was preceded by Democrat Governor Phil Murphy, who apparently concealed the issue after it was caught in 2024.<\/p>\n

Just hours after Sherrill\u2019s announcement, the DOJ\u2019s Civil Rights Division launched an investigation.<\/p>\n

Dhillon fired off an email to Sherrill demanding key data about the over 6,600 non-citizens who had registered to vote, including their names.<\/p>\n

\u201cEnsuring that U.S. citizens\u2019 votes are not illegally diluted by noncitizens\u2019 votes is of paramount importance,\u201d Dhillon wrote in her letter to the N.J. governor.<\/p>\n

Dhillon gave the state five-days to fork over the information.<\/p>\n

New Jersey is one of approximately 30 states that has refused to provide full, unredacted voter registration lists to the Department of Justice for the Civil Rights Division\u2019s ongoing review of U.S. voter rolls.<\/p>\n

During her interview with Johnson, Dhillon emphasized that noncitizens who illegally cast ballots in U.S. elections should face serious consequences, including removal from the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cFour hundred plus of these individuals self-identified as noncitizens and then they went ahead and voted,\u201d Dhillon stated, pointing out that Democrats routinely dismiss election integrity concerns because it\u2019s already illegal to vote.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, and it\u2019s also happening on a massive scale, and I suspect that it\u2019s much bigger than what was disclosed yesterday,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Dhillon later told Johnson, \u201cI don\u2019t trust anything New Jersey is telling me at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Less than two weeks ago, Dhillon said she sent notices to the 30 noncompliant states warning them that if they knowingly allowed noncitizens to stay on the voter rolls and vote, the Justice Department \u201cwould come after them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was mocked,\u201d she told Johnson. \u201cI got nasty letters back from secretaries of state and in fact we see it is necessary and even more needs to be done.\u201d<\/p>\n
