Rape is a serious crime in the UK,\u201d the guide states, warning that offenders could face prison and consequences for their asylum claims and government support.<\/p>\n<p>Migrants are also informed that Britain\u2019s age of consent is 16.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSex with someone under the age of 16 is a serious crime in the UK. There are no exceptions to this rule,\u201d the document states.<\/p>\n<p>The government also instructs asylum seekers that men and women have equal rights.
