Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) announced that she will be filing charges against a Code Pink organizer after the leftist allegedly assaulted her as she was leaving a House hearing room.<\/p>\n

The altercation allegedly happened as Secretary of State Marco Rubio was testifying before the House Foreign Affairs Committee regarding the FY2027 State Department budget request and the ongoing war with Iran.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe head honcho of Code Pink here on Capitol Hill decided to try to harass me as I was leaving my hearing with Rubio and smacked my arm,\u201d Luna posted on X following the confrontation.\u00a0 \u201cI have no issues answering questions but the moment you touch me you cross a line.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luna added in a subsequent post that the alleged assault happened after she questioned the secretary about Code Pink\u2019s ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), saying \u201ctheir organization followed me out, berated me, and then their head person here in DC smacked me. I will be filing charges.\u201d<\/p>\n

Code Pink\u2019s DC Coordinator is\u00a0Pam Bailey, a longtime pro-Palestine activist who has been banned and deported from Israel.<\/p>\n

Luna has accused Code Pink of being \u201cforeign-funded and directly tied to China\u201d and called for the organization to be banned from the Capitol, claims that the group categorically denies as false and libelous.<\/p>\n

While the group is funded primarily by individual donations and grants from far-left U.S. foundations, a significant amount of donations is tied to billionaire Neville Roy Singham, the husband of Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans.<\/p>\n

According to reports, approximately 25 percent of the organization\u2019s donations since 2017 have come from two groups linked to Singham, who resides in Shanghai and has faced allegations of aligning with the CCP.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Singham, in total, has given $1.3 million to an organization called Code Pink, as well as over $278 million to various nonprofits since 2017,\u201d Luna stated during the hearing Wednesday. The congresswoman told Rubio that she believed many countries, like China, engage in influence operations to undermine U.S foreign policy and contribute to the \u201cpolitical divide\u201d in the country.<\/p>\n

Luna later stated on X that Rubio had \u201cconfirmed what we\u2019ve all suspected.\u201d<\/p>\n

Foreign governments are actively using disinformation campaigns and influencer psyops to undermine our foreign policy and rip our country apart.<\/p>\n

Look no further than Neville Roy Singham and the \u201cleft wing radical loons\u201d from Code Pink who are working with communists in China and Cuba.<\/p>\n
