US attorney Bill Essayli said Monday that federal investigators have found \u201cevidence of voter fraud\u201d in California and are working to bring those cases to court within the next couple of months.<\/p>

Popular Republican trailblazer Spencer Pratt was eliminated from the Los Angeles mayoral election Monday, after another massive surge in harvested mail-in ballots went to far-left city councilwoman Nithya Raman.<\/p>\n

The surge of late mail-in ballots also flipped the vote on Monday to approve higher sales taxes for LA residents, a result that left many Angelenos scratching their heads.<\/p>\n

Raman will face incumbent Karen Bass (D.) in the November runoff for mayor of the deep blue city.<\/p>\n

Republican candidate for governor, Steve Hilton, meanwhile, managed to advance to the November runoff.<\/p>\n

Essayli told conservative talk show host Glenn Beck that federal election fraud charges will be brought against an undisclosed number of people after the election\u00a0 is certified.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be election fraud charges in the next, I hate to put timelines on things, one to two months, I believe,\u201d he said. |\u201dWe need some of these results to be certified so we can prove some of the allegations. But we will be charging some people. What we need right now are witnesses.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a combative interview on News Nation<\/em> Monday night, Essayli told skeptical host Chris Cuomo \u201cthere is evidence of voter fraud, we are looking into it, and when we\u2019re ready to bring those cases, you\u2019ll see the evidence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Cuomo scoffed at the prosecutor for producing no evidence of \u201cwidescale fraud,\u201d prompting Essayli to respond: \u201c<\/span>We have not charged the state of California with widescale fraud, we\u2019re conducting an investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cAnd I guarantee you, when we do bring cases, we will have plenty of evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. That is how we work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Essayli also pointed out that California has refused to cooperate with the Department of Justice\u2019s request to audit the state\u2019s voter rolls.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cUnder federal law, we\u2019re entitled to audit California\u2019s voter rolls,\u201d he stated. \u201cUnder multiple civil rights statutes, we\u2019re entitled to audit those, the state is resisting. Why is that?\u201d<\/p>\n

Cuomo conceded that \u201cit\u2019s a bad look.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe best way to deal with all this is to have transparency,\u201d Essayli declared.<\/p>\n
