Outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has released never before seen documents revealing Dr. Anthony Fauci\u2019s direct involvement in funding the dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab that sparked the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

The newly declassified internal communications show that the former NIAID director directed millions of taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to conduct research on bat coronaviruses, and the intelligence community usually followed his recommendations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe COVID-19 pandemic caused tremendous hardship and pain for millions of our fellow Americans and for countless people around the world,\u201d Gabbard said in a video statement, Thursday night. \u201cAfter years of lies, censorship, and cover-ups, the American people deserve transparency, truth, and accountability.\u201d<\/p>\n

The files also expose Fauci\u2019s efforts to suppress information and manipulate intelligence assessments regarding the lab-leak.<\/p>\n

Gabbard also accused Fauci of lying to Congress in 2024, when under oath he denied knowledge of or participation in discussions with intelligence officials about viral research.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe tactics used to hide the truth are straight from the deep state playbook: politicized self-serving leaders like Dr. Fauci covered up their own wrongdoing and abuses of power, manipulated intelligence, lied to Congress, and undermined a duly elected President by restricting his access to vital facts,\u201d Gabbard said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also received testimony from multiple Intelligence Community whistleblowers who reported retaliation for challenging the Intelligence Community\u2019s manipulation of intelligence on the virus\u2019s origins,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Gabbard said the documents show a \u201cclear pattern of suppressing dissent, silencing critics, and burying the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n
