Dr. Anthony Fauci knew in January of 2021 that the experimental COVID “vaccine” could cause miscarriages but continued to push the shots on pregnant women, newly released phone records show.

According to one analysis, miscarriages shot up to 82 percent in 2021 among women vaccinated with the COVID injection during the early months of their pregnancies.
Senators Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and Rand Paul (R-Ky.), chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, on Monday released the galling text chain messages obtained from Fauci’s government-issued cellphone which was produced by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on August 6.
The text chain released Monday is dated from January 25-26, and features former NIAID Director Fauci, former CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, and former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy discussing pregnant women and the COVID-19 injections.
In one of the text messages, Fauci laments that there is a “misconception” in the public that the genetic shot could harm developing fetuses.
In a follow-up text, he said that he “asked around a bit more” and found out that “since many people have significant cytokines storm and fever after the second dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.”
Walensky responded, “Definitely a good point, esp. after dose two.”
Murthy wrote back, “this is really helpful, thanks. I’ve been hearing the concern about the mRNA causing mutations in the developing fetus, as well. That’s a really good point re the cytokine storm post second dose.”
After the World Health Organization (WHO) put out a statement advising pregnant women not to take the Moderna vaccine because of “lack of data,” the trio discussed what to tell the media.
Fauci said he would tell reporters that they hadn’t seen any red flags and the risks of the getting the virus outweighed the risks of the COVID shots so pregnant women should have the choice.

All three of the health officials went on to recommend the novel vaccine to pregnant women with no restrictions.

Feb. 3, 2021 – NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci: “[FDA] have found thus far and we have to be careful but thus far no red flags about that, about pregnant women.”
Aug. 11, 2021 – CDC’s Sascha Ellington: “We are not seeing a signal of safety concerns of the vaccine in pregnancy … This vaccine can prevent Covid-19, and so that’s the primary benefit.”
Aug. 30, 2021 – NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci: “Well, are the vaccines safe?” … “10s and 10s and 10s of thousands of women who have been followed by the CDC, who have been vaccinated when they were pregnant, there’s no indication whatsoever that there’s any increase of any adverse issues in a pregnant woman who was vaccinated compared to a pregnant woman who wasn’t vaccinated … it’s pretty clear that pregnant women should get vaccinated.”
Sept. 29, 2021 – CDC Director Rochelle Walensky: “CDC strongly recommends COVID-19 vaccination either before or during pregnancy because the benefits of vaccination outweigh known or potential risks,” the agency said in a health alert … Walensky told a White House COVID-19 briefing that studies show COVID-19 vaccines are safe for pregnant women.
Feb. 1, 2022 – Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy: “It’s all the more important for you to get vaccinated if you are pregnant or if you are trying to become pregnant … The data points show that the vaccines are safe during these various stages before and during pregnancy … They found generally that anytime during your pregnancy is actually fine [to get the vaccine], and that’s why the recommendation is just to get it.”
Dr. James Thorp, an OB/GYN and maternal-fetal medicine specialist, vocally opposed administering the shots pregnant women during the vaccine rollout.
In an August 2022 interview, Thorp said that he had seen a massive spike in fetal death and adverse pregnancy outcomes after the mass vaccination campaign began.

Dr. Thorp told Epoch Times he had practiced obstetrics for over 42 years and saw 6,000–7,000 high-risk OB patients a year.
The obstetrician declared that the use of the experimental COVID vaccines on expectant mothers “broke all the rules.”
“We have always been guided by that principle, that longstanding, six millennia principle—the golden rule of pregnancy—you never, ever use an investigational drug, a new substance, a new drug, a new vaccine—even if there’s a potential benefit,” he said. “You don’t ever use a new substance in pregnancy.”
Thorp said that in his practice, he had seen a “significant increase” in problems, including “extraordinarily abnormal menstrual periods” before pregnancy.
“The vaccine I’m very concerned about and I do believe that in pregnancy, it’s contraindicated,” he said.
He told Epoch Times that his attempts to disclose these adverse events had been hampered by the imposition of gag orders on physicians and nurses that were imposed in September 2021.
In December 2022, Thorp testified that the spike in fetal death and adverse pregnancy outcomes he’d observed in his practice was “catastrophic.”
“What I have seen in my medical practice has been a substantial increase in infertility, miscarriage, fetal death and fetal malformation. What we have seen is catastrophic,’ Thorp said during Senator Ron Johnson’s Roundtable discussion on the COVID-19 Vaccine injuries on Dec. 7, 2022.
Thorp published an open letter to the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology on January 12, 2022 rebutting a paper published in the New England Journal of Medicine in June 2021, showing a low incidence of miscarriages among vaccinated pregnant women.
He argued: “because 700 of the 827 pregnant women in the study received their COVID-19 injection in the third trimester (after 28 weeks), those 700 should be excluded from the denominator used to calculate a 12.6 percent (104/827) spontaneous abortion rate (defined as occurring before 20 weeks). The actual spontaneous abortion rate would then be 82% (104/127).”
An analysis of a Pfizer document called “Cumulative Analysis of Post-Authorization Adverse Event Reports” found an 87.5 percent death rate.
In February 2023, Pfizer Director Dr. Jordan Trishton Walker acknowledged on hidden camera that the company had concerns regarding the potential negative impacts its mRNA products were having on women’s reproductive systems.
Walker told a Project Veritas reporter that there had been significant safety signals regarding female menstrual cycles. “There is something irregular about the menstrual cycles, so people will have to investigate that down the line,” he said.
According to Senators Johnson and Paul, Fauci’s phone contains more than 34,000 text messages and 522 voicemails, but only three contacts are listed. Most of the text messages were identified only with phone numbers rather than contact names, prompting the senators to speculate whether data had been deleted.
The senators said it will take time to review the large volume of information, but they and their staffs “will work diligently and cooperatively to release relevant information to the public as soon as possible.”
