Attorney General Todd Blanche lashed out at Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner on Wednesday, after the Soros-backed prosecutor told a crowd of about 100 black activists that “we all” will “blow up” President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom.

“It’s disgusting that a district attorney in Philadelphia who, by the way, is a city with its own problems, is so focused on what the president is doing at the White House,” Blanche told Fox News’ Dana Perino.
Krasner made the fiery comments while speaking at a slavery commiseration event in Philadelphia organized by the “Avenging the Ancestors Coalition” on Tuesday. He stated that the destruction of the White House ballroom would be done in an “official ceremony,” presumably after Democrats regain control of the government. The Philly DA told the predominately black crowd that he would keep a fragment of the destroyed structure as a paperweight and sell other pieces to “give the taxpayers their money back,” despite Trump’s assurance that the project is privately funded.
“I’m gonna have a paperweight sitting on my desk—you know what that paperweight’s going to be?” Krasner asked. “It’s going to be a piece of the ballroom after we all blow it up!” he exclaimed. “In an official ceremony, just so we’re clear,” he added. “In an official ceremony, we’re going to blow it up and we’re going to give the taxpayers their money back by selling all the pieces as paperweights and I’m gonna have one on my desk.”
The motto of ATAC, the group that organized the event is “Never forget, always avenge.”
Trump’s ballroom is currently under construction where the White House’s East Wing used to stand, and is already 65 percent complete, according to the administration. The 90,000-square-foot structure is expected to cost around $400 million and will be entirely funded by private donations, according to the president.
The Democrats’ lawsuit trying to stop the ballroom’s construction has been taken up by the Supreme Court, who has allowed work to continue as they consider the case.
The ATAC event was held at the President’s House Site in Philadelphia, which marks the location of the nation’s first executive mansion where George Washington (1790–1797) and John Adams (1797–1800) resided while the capital was temporarily in Philadelphia. The site now hosts an open-air exhibit titled “Freedom and Slavery in the Making of a New Nation,” which purportedly aims to highlight the paradox of liberty and enslavement at the nation’s birth.
Calling Trump an “embodiment of hate” and a “fool,” Krasner asserted that the exhibit in Philadelphia would remain, but the ballroom and a renamed Kennedy Center would not survive the next 10 to 15 years.
On Fox News, Blanche argued that Krasner’s comments demonstrate how “divisive” Democrats have become.

“This isn’t just about a safe and secure place for the president and his family and world leaders, it’s also a national security issue which we’ve been been talking about now for months and months and months,” he said.
“The fact that you even have a local district attorney, instead of focusing on his own city’s problems and crimes, talk about blowing it up is reflective how divisive and unfortunate the Democrats have made this issue,” he told Perino, adding, “We will continue to build the ballroom.”
Krasner has a history of making inflammatory statements to his fellow travelers in Philly.
Back in January, as Philadelphia was in the throes of anti-ICE hysteria and activism, Krasner repeatedly vowed that the men and women who enforce U.S. immigration laws would face retribution once Democrats regained power.
“We will arrest you. We will handcuff you. We will close those cuffs. We will put you in a cell,” he told a group of community leaders and activists on January 14. “We will set your bail and I’m going to ask for it to be appropriately high.”
A week later, he escalated his rhetoric, smearing ICE agents as Nazis who would be “hunted down.”
“If we have to hunt you down the way they hunted down Nazis for decades, we will find your identities. We will find you,” he told a group of anti-ICE agitators on January 27.
In March, Krasner doubled down on those earlier promises to arrest and prosecute ICE agents, by threatening agents deployed to his city’s airport.
His unhinged rhetoric has drawn sharp criticism from those who view his statements as threats against federal officers and federal property.
