Homeland Security Investigations agents searched the Washington residence of Ilhan Omar early Monday, removing boxes of evidence as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. The Justice Department confirmed that agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant but declined to disclose the specific allegations. Various media outlets report that investigators are examining immigration paperwork completed by Omar’s late father when she was a child; Omar denies wrongdoing and describes the investigation as an attempt to intimidate a political opponent. For years, there have been reports that Omar married her brother in order to help him obtain U.S. citizenship. Omar also was accused by the convicted founder of Feeding Our Future (FOF), the Minnesota racket stealing Covid money from taxpayers, as helping restaurant owners file fake or inflated claims during the pandemic. The imprisoned founder of FoF Aimee Bock reported Omar would personally step in whenever fraud inspection waivers ran out. No one is above the law, Ilhan, shame on you.

Here’s a good reason to lock down the U.S. immigration system. British Prime Minister Andy Burnham told Parliament Monday that intelligence assessments indicate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) almost certainly directed a suspected attack against RAF Fairford, the British air base used by American bombers during operations against Iran. The September incident led to arrests, heightened security measures and the withdrawal of American B-1 bombers. Britain summoned Iran’s ambassador and imposed sanctions on two individuals allegedly connected to Iranian espionage and covert operations. Iran denies responsibility and has challenged Britain to produce evidence. New York authorities have refused more than 16,000 federal immigration detainer requests involving illegal immigrants accused or convicted of crimes, including homicide, kidnapping and sexual offenses, according to newly released Department of Homeland Security data. The figures, reported Monday by the New York Post, show that municipalities across the Democrat-controlled state have declined to honor 16,070 Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainers since Trump returned to office in 2025. Such stellar examples of humanity involve individuals associated with an accumulated 52,503 criminal charges or convictions, including 131 homicides, 132 kidnappings and 1,017 sexual offenses.
