Better late than never? Or is it already too late?
We may learn the answers early on November 4, but for now it appears that a few sane souls in La La Land are waking up to the DSA threat all around us.

The last few years have seen star after star hightail it out of Los Angeles, a city overrun with crime, homelessness, and one-party rule. Think Jonah Hill, Chrissy Metz, Diane Farr, Sylvester Stallone, and others.
Remember, the DSA manifesto is so soft on crime it wants to eliminate prisons. In the City of Angels, the bad guys get a slap on the wrist, if that. And DSA acolyte Nithya Raman is poised to defeat current Mayor Karen Bass in mere weeks.
Other liberal artists who have stuck around bemoan the one-party nightmare, including Entourage creator Doug Ellin. He’s no MAGA acolyte, just a middle-aged man who has seen enough of what happens when a beautiful city gets far-Left leadership.
Ellin even backed upstart candidate Spencer Pratt in the city’s recent mayoral race, citing the area’s shocking “collapse.” That effort failed.
No adult in the party is willing to stand up to their socialist rantings. Instead, they’re welcoming them into their “big tent,” their favorite new phrase. Yet two prominent liberal stars are speaking out against their own DSA-infused party.
TV producer Chuck Lorre may not be a household name, but his sitcoms are part of the American fabric: The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Young Sheldon, Mike & Molly, Mom, Dharma & Greg, and so forth.
Lorre recently lashed out at woke overreach in a speech mostly dedicated to savaging President Donald Trump. He warned his fellow Democrats to “run from the suicidal insanity of the far-left woke culture in the coming election.”
That woke culture has been suffocating comedy, as well as Western society, for a decade. Why raise the alarm now? Lorre also cautioned that a society that fails to believe in God is ripe for a tyrannical takeover.
Has the ghost of Rush Limbaugh possessed one of Hollywood’s most loyal progressives?
Another far-Left artist, Larry David, burns plenty of calories smiting President Trump on the small screen—think his anti-MAGA Curb Your Enthusiasm narratives and his recent Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness series.
David also satirically suggested Bill Maher had Nazi sympathies for breaking bread with President Trump.
That was then—last year, to be exact. Now, David is penning a column for Air Mail mocking the very DSA movement that’s consuming his beloved party.
“In our Socialist America…everyone will be so fulfilled spiritually and financially that the police department will be dramatically reduced to where an officer’s only job will be to adjudicate domestic disputes … stands will be set up at local farmers markets, where they will work to resolve marital issues in a folksy, farm-to-table manner.”
He also slammed DSA types for their not-so-hidden antisemitism. The Chosen People will now be called The Bagel People, he writes, tongue in cheek, and they’ll be forced to flee Israel for “Pitcairn Island in the South Pacific.”
We’re days away from DSA candidates possibly taking key roles in the U.S. government. This movement isn’t new, and David and Lorre could have said plenty after New Yorkers inexplicably picked Zohran Mamdani as their next mayor.
Their commentary may coax other progressive artists to speak out. Thanks, but no thanks. You’re too late to stop the DSA train, and the time to do so has already passed.
