Morning Greatness: The Walls Are Closing In on Ilhan Omar

Good Wednesday morning.

Here is what’s on President Trump’s agenda today:

11AM: The President participates in Executive Time

4PM: The President holds a political rally in Bullhead City, Arizona

8:15PM: The President holds a political rally in Kalispell, Montana

Two minutes of hate:

The walls are closing in on Ilhan Omar. Federal investigators issued grand jury subpoenas Tuesday to relatives of Omar, including her sister Sahra Noor, as part of an investigation into the congresswoman’s immigration history. The subpoenas follow Monday’s search of Omar’s Washington, D.C., residence by Homeland Security Investigations agents. Fox News reported that investigators are examining whether Omar or her late father, Nur Omar Mohamed, provided inaccurate information on immigration documents. Separately, the New York Post obtained correspondence showing that Omar’s congressional staff requested a correction to her birth year in the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library in May 2019. The library changed the year from 1981 to 1982.

The birth year change is important because Omar claims she was a minor when she became a U.S. citizen at 17 and she obtained her citizenship via her sketchy father who may or may not have been involved in executing a genocide back in Somalia. If she was actually 18 years old during the process she should have gone through the immigration system as an adult, not as a minor. Additionally, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro said yesterday that Omar’s financial disclosures were also being reviewed. I think we can all agree that Omar does not seem happy here in America. Let’s do her a favor and expedite the return to her native land. Bon Voyage!

Here’s a lesson in the Streisand Effect. Over the weekend singer and superstar Kelly Clarkson decided to make a trip to Brooklyn to check out a small business known as “The Art of Play.” I can only imagine what a snotty, hipster outfit this is with a lame name like that. Clarkson, who has an amazing origin story, is not only a music star and a host of the popular television show “The Voice,” she has a solid reputation as a very nice person. There are no “do you know who I am?” stories about Kelly Clarkson.

She makes the journey to Brooklyn, visits the store, picks out some items and makes an inquiry into a singing bird that was for sale. The bird had a price tag displayed and the price listed was $15,000. I guess it’s “art.” The retail clerk was very rude to Clarkson, suggesting she couldn’t afford it, he obviously had no idea who she was. Clarkson shared her experience at the snooty store on X.

In response to Clarkson’s post, the store did not apologize. It did not reach out or ask her to come back or make any other gestures to smooth things over. You should know Clarkson has more than 8 million followers on X. In the most post-modern way possible, the store painted itself as a victim. “But I am afraid for the safety of our shop. Kelly Clarkson has put us in danger,” hipster store owner Adam Rubin told Fox News Digital. He continued his victimization narrative explaining “I’m not even supposed to be here today. I got a cancer removed from my face last week.” You should also know, Rubin, is also a children’s book author and magician. I can’t make this up.

And the store raised the price of the bird to $15,000,000. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, Adam, stand a little taller.
