Morning Greatness: Sources Say Rep. Ilhan ‘Omar’ Is a Fake Name as the Congresswoman Denies Knowledge She Married Her Brother

Good Friday morning.

Here is what’s on President Trump’s agenda today:

8:00 AM THE PRESIDENT participates in Executive Time

2:00 PM THE PRESIDENT delivers Remarks Fort Myers, Florida

Two minutes of hate:

Sources say embattled Rep. Ilhan Omar is using a nom de guerre. Federal prosecutors identified the Minnesota Democrat as Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, also known as Ilhan Abdullahi Omar, in a court filing related to an ongoing federal investigation. Sources familiar with the investigation claimed Omar’s birth name differed from the name under which she serves in Congress. Her real name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, according to two sources with knowledge of the investigation into the Somali-born congresswoman, including a law enforcement source. “That’s not her real name,” one source said

“Omar’s” spokesperson denied the allegation. “This is completely false. Ilhan Omar is her real name.” The congresswoman does not have a birth certificate. But the feds have “Omar’s” DNA.

And to add some gasoline to the fire, “Omar” asserted her innocence by telling left-wing media outlet MSNow, that “to the best of her knowledge” she did not marry her brother.

“You’re not related to him at all?” political activist Chris Hayes asked. “There’s not some weird kernel of truth…?”

“Not to my knowledge,” she replied.

In 2009, “Omar” married a man named Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who coincidentally shares the same name listed on the federal search warrant executed by the feds. The two siblings/lovebirds divorced in 2017.

President Trump addressed the “Omar” situation at a rally in Iowa last night. “She said, not to my knowledge. That’s one of the worst answers I think I’ve ever heard,” Trump said. “I assume she must immediately have to resign from Congress, right?” he added.

This is messy, as the kids say.

If you are looking for something to do this weekend, you might want to tune into the latest episode of the perennial drama called “Globalize the Intifada.” There is some buzz growing a new episode might drop sometime this weekend in France.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced Thursday that authorities would seek to prohibit demonstrations organized by individuals or groups lacking legitimate authorization, following weeks of violent protests, vandalism and clashes with police.

“Last Saturday we had political and seditious acts by ultra-left groups whose aim is to bring down the Republic,” Macron was quoted by Reuters as saying following a meeting with intelligence officials.

Sounds serious, like a war or something.
