Police reportedly investigated a “Gay Pride” display at a high school in Pierce County, Washington, Monday, after shocking photos emerged online showing the display included vials of testosterone injections.
Local journalist Brandi Kruse posted the photos on X, Friday, showing a glass container holding about a dozen vials of Testosterone Cypionate injections next to a rainbow pride folding fan as part of the display.
“OH. MY. LORD,” wrote Kruse. “We were just sent images of the Pride display at Washington’s Graham-Kapowsin High School. It contains vials of testosterone injections.”
Testosterone Cypionate is an injectable used in hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and in particular to treat trans-identifying females.
The injections are typically administered via intramuscular injection every one to two weeks and cause the recipient to develop secondary male characteristics.
The display also included a number of LGBTQ themed children’s books.
The images sparked skepticism from online Democrats who said the display was fake, prompting Kruse to cite the “Three stages of left-wing denial”:

Pierce County Sheriff Keith Swank responded to Kruse’s post Friday, saying the “Pierce County Sheriff’s Office will be investigating this.”
The reporter noted that most of the vials looked empty, except for the one on the outside of the jar.
“We’ll check it out,” the sheriff replied.
Kruse updated on X Monday to say the vials had been removed.
“We are also told police were there to inspect the case this morning,” the journalist added.
