US attorney Bill Essayli said Monday that federal investigators have found “evidence of voter fraud” in California and are working to bring those cases to court within the next couple of months.

Popular Republican trailblazer Spencer Pratt was eliminated from the Los Angeles mayoral election Monday, after another massive surge in harvested mail-in ballots went to far-left city councilwoman Nithya Raman.
The surge of late mail-in ballots also flipped the vote on Monday to approve higher sales taxes for LA residents, a result that left many Angelenos scratching their heads.
Raman will face incumbent Karen Bass (D.) in the November runoff for mayor of the deep blue city.
Republican candidate for governor, Steve Hilton, meanwhile, managed to advance to the November runoff.
Essayli told conservative talk show host Glenn Beck that federal election fraud charges will be brought against an undisclosed number of people after the election is certified.
“It will be election fraud charges in the next, I hate to put timelines on things, one to two months, I believe,” he said. |”We need some of these results to be certified so we can prove some of the allegations. But we will be charging some people. What we need right now are witnesses.”
During a combative interview on News Nation Monday night, Essayli told skeptical host Chris Cuomo “there is evidence of voter fraud, we are looking into it, and when we’re ready to bring those cases, you’ll see the evidence.”
Cuomo scoffed at the prosecutor for producing no evidence of “widescale fraud,” prompting Essayli to respond: “We have not charged the state of California with widescale fraud, we’re conducting an investigation.”
He added: “And I guarantee you, when we do bring cases, we will have plenty of evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. That is how we work.”
Essayli also pointed out that California has refused to cooperate with the Department of Justice’s request to audit the state’s voter rolls.
“Under federal law, we’re entitled to audit California’s voter rolls,” he stated. “Under multiple civil rights statutes, we’re entitled to audit those, the state is resisting. Why is that?”
Cuomo conceded that “it’s a bad look.”
“The best way to deal with all this is to have transparency,” Essayli declared.
After Cuomo challenged Essayli’s claim that California is the only state that allows unfettered third-party ballot harvesting, the prosecutor doubled down on X, saying the state’s vote harvesting rules have “no ballot limit, no collector restrictions, and no chain of custody.”
Case in point, according to The New York Post, thousands of voters were registered to vote at LA homeless shelters, “despite many not living there or the facilities not having any beds.”

A drop-in center that received $600,000 from Raman reportedly showed 185 registered voters at the address, although it offers no overnight accommodations.
Essayli told The Post he would “follow the evidence” to see if any laws had been broken.
A review of records shows 7,600 voters tied to homeless shelters and service providers.
Among them was St. Joseph Center in Venice, a homeless services drop-in center with 185 registered voters tied to its address. The organization received a $600,000 taxpayer-funded grant awarded by Raman while she chaired the City Council’s Housing and Homelessness Committee.
Last week, The Post contacted her campaign and the center seeking comment regarding the relationship between the councilmember and the organization but has not heard back.

The largest concentration of homeless voters was at the Midnight Mission in Skid Row, where voting records show 1,160 registrations — but its website shows it only has beds for 84 men and 36 women.
One homeless man on Skid Row told the Post he had “witnessed voter registration efforts in the area for years” and that he had previously been paid to help sign up voters. The man said cigarettes were offered to people during those registration drives.
Back in March, undercover journalists with O’Keefe Media Group filmed paid activists on LA’s Skid Row offering cash, cigarettes, and marijuana to homeless people in exchange for signing ballot petitions and registering to vote.
Activists were also caught on hidden camera paying homeless people to forge signatures of registered voters on ballot initiatives.
Essayli told the Post: “California has effectively decriminalized election fraud by removing basic fraud detection that are common in other states.
“Dirty voter rolls, with no voter ID and unregulated ballot harvesting is a open invitation for bad actors to commit fraud.
“If California wants to restore public trust, we invite them to comply with federal law and allow us to audit its voter rolls — what are they afraid of?”
