Former President Barack Hussein Obama has stepped in on X to defend his comrade Ilhan Omar from unjust attacks by a weaponized Trump Administration. “It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say.”

And he continued to explain, “The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president.”
Full weight of the government, eh? The Obama machine and his deep state vultures relentlessly attacked elected official President Donald J. Trump with witch hunts, hearings and investigations. They abused the FISA process, spied on his campaign, and planted lies in the media that were used to “justify” further government overreach. During the four years of the “Biden” administration, the Obama machine sent storm troopers to Trump’s private residence complete with pre-arranged media coverage, staged evidence for photo ops and ransacked his wife and child’s private belongings. His operation worked with disgruntled characters to file civil suits against the president and changed the law to prosecute Trump for manufactured crimes in New York. Obama’s henchmen had a television producer create a prime time broadcast spectacle of a “hearing” for the J6 protest on the taxpayer dime. Don’t get me started on what they did to the J6ers with SWAT raids, debanking, surveillance, financial ruin, lawfare and ritual defamation. Obama’s posse obtained the banking records and personal information from random, blue hair, memaws who bought a Trump hat or donated $10 to the Trump campaign. How could I forget about all the disbarment efforts against every lawyer who worked with Trump, like the wonderful John Eastman or Jeff Clark who are still fighting that battle today. His friends also spied on senators, congressmen and the media.
He doesn’t mean a single word of what he wrote. In fact, another Obama comrade, former and probably current CIA spook Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) recently articulated their plan to continue the campaign of terror against lefts’ political adversaries. She said of young Republicans with political interests, “I want them to be like, ‘Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems I don’t want, and so let me avoid participating in that,’” Slotkin proudly and publicly described. “I want that deterrence message sent.” She’s giving us a preview of what is to come should the Republicans lose the House and/or Senate in the midterms. Buckle up.
There isn’t enough space to list all the ways in which Obama has “selectively target[ed] individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say.” Maybe he can sponsor Ilhan Omar and her family for citizenship.
My response to Obama: the correction seems extreme only because the imbalance has become familiar.
